– “Belarus [unlike Western countries] demonstrates a different policy. We are happy to host those who want to come to us. … We have a humane attitude towards those people who happen to be refugees. This is the position of Belarus.
Assess the syllable and rhetoric. There is a feeling that these words were not spoken yesterday, but in 1969. Though what to expect from people who are a product of the formed “Soviet citizen” with the corresponding worldview. The “Union” has been gone for 30 years, but the worldview remains.
What the so-called deputy means by “fatal mistakes” is hard to say. But why not talk about the fatal mistakes of Russian foreign policy, which led to the bloody war in Ukraine? Although why should a woman of retirement age from Belarus care about the consequences of the war for the same Russia (let’s not even mention Ukraine) and thousands of “cargo 200” Russian soldiers? Sitting in a warm and comfortable chair on a handsome salary and pushing buttons in the conference room of the so-called parliament is the best way to stimulate the arguments about plots and insidious enemies.
Belarusian propaganda and the Lukashenko regime in principle continue media use of the topic of Ukrainian refugees. In recent years, the situation in Belarus in all spheres of life (to put it mildly) has not become better. The situation has especially worsened after the 2020 protests. Total degradation in the economy, education, health care, etc. has become the general mainstream. Tens of thousands of talented Belarusians left the country (also because of political repression).
Against this background, the people who fled from the war in Ukraine were just as good for propaganda as they were for the Lukashenko regime. After all, against the background of life under shelling and bombing, with a shortage of food, water and light, life in Belarus may seem more “heavenly” than in Ukraine. The people who escaped the war will sincerely praise Belarus and “the best president in the world who has kept the peace, the collective farms and the factories” on camera. In this case, 1282 political prisoners (as of August 16), dictatorship, denunciations, repressions for any expression of an alternative point of view, the absence of basic political rights and freedoms, terror of the population by the law enforcement agencies, murders of political opponents will not matter. For this reason, propaganda regularly releases materials in which refugees praise Belarus, and the so-called authorities issue Belarusian passports to citizens of Ukraine under a simplified procedure.
The so-called deputy also spoke about the proposal to stop issuing tourist visas to EU countries to Russian citizens.
“This demonstrates their (West’s) powerlessness. It means that nothing that the West assumed would work is working anymore. The sanctions didn’t work. But to look for enemies in every person who wants to travel is about what? Is Europe afraid of Russians or Belarusians?”

Есть в Беларуси люди, которые являются так называемыми депутатами парламента. Помимо своей основной задачи по нажатию кнопки в зале заседаний на сессиях дважды в год, для оправдания своего существования им предписано хвалить так называемого президента и проклинать Запад. Слово предоставляется так называемой депутатке Лилии Ананич:
– “Именно коллективный Запад, ведомый заокеанской сверхдержавой, делает фатальные ошибки, которые приводят к разрушению миропорядка”.
– “Беларусь [в отличие от стран Запада] демонстрирует другую политику. Мы рады принимать тех, кто хочет к нам приехать. … Мы по-человечески относимся к тем людям, которые волей судьбы оказываются беженцами. Это позиция Беларуси”.
Оцените слог и риторику. Такое чувство, что слова эти были произнесены не вчера, а году так в 1969-м. Хотя чего ожидать от людей, которые являются продуктом сформированного “советского гражданина” с соответствующим мировоззрением. “Союза” уже 30 лет как не существует, а мировоззрение осталось.
Что так называемая депутатка подразумевает под “фатальными ошибками” сказать сложно. Но почему бы не порассуждать о фатальных ошибках российской внешней политики, приведшей к кровопролитной войне в Украине? Хотя с чего бы это женщину пенсионного возраста из Беларуси должны беспокоить последствия войны для той же России (об Украине вообще молчим) и тысячи “грузов 200” российских солдат? Сидение в теплом и комфортном кресле на неплохой зарплате за нажимания кнопки в зале заседаний так называемого парламента как нельзя лучше стимулирует рассуждения о заговорах и коварных врагах.
Беларусская пропаганда и режим Лукашенко в принципе продолжают медийное использование темы украинских беженцев. За последние годы ситуация в Беларуси во всех сферах жизнедеятельности (мягко скажем) лучше не становилась. Особенно ситуация ухудшилась после протестов 2020 года. Общим мейнстримом становится тотальная деградация в экономике, образовании, здравоохранении и др. Десятки тысяч талантливых беларусов уехали за рубеж (в том числе из-за политических репрессий).
На этом фоне появившиеся люди, которые сбежали от войны в Украине, были как нельзя кстати что для пропаганды, что для режима Лукашенко. Ведь на фоне жизни под артобстрелом и бомбежками, с дефицитом еды, воды, света жизнь в Беларуси может показаться вообще “райской”, нежели в Украине. А люди, спасшиеся от войны, на камеру искренне будут нахваливать Беларусь и “лучшего в мире президента, который сохранил мир, колхозы и заводы”. В данном случае не будут иметь значения 1282 политических заключенных (по состоянию на 16 августа), диктатура, доносы, репрессии за любое проявление альтернативной точки зрения, отсутствие элементарных политических прав и свобод, террор населения силовыми структурами, убийства политических оппонентов. По этой причине пропаганда регулярно выпускает материалы, где беженцы хвалят Беларусь, а так называемая власть по упрощенной процедуре выдает беларусские паспорта гражданам Украины.
Еще так называемый депутат высказалась о предложении перестать выдавать туристические визы в страны ЕС гражданам России.
“Это демонстрирует их (Запада) бессилие. Значит, не работает уже ничего, что, как предполагалось Западом, должно было подействовать. Санкции не сработали. Но искать врагов в каждом человеке, который хочет поехать попутешествовать, — это о чем? В Европе что, боятся русских или белорусов?”
